all govt. schools in Rautahat closed for two more days -

16 Jan, Chandranigahapur (Rautahat). The District Education Office (DEO), Rautahat, has issued a notice requiring all the district-based government schools to close for two more days as there is no let up in the cold wave sweeping the district.

School Before this, all the government and community schools were closed until January 15 due to the severe cold brought by the cold wave.

 A meeting held between the DEO and different teachers’ organizations took this decision.

 District Education Officer, Laxmi Prasad Bhattarai, said that they decided to close all the government schools until January 17 as children are much affected by the cold.

 He said that an arrangement has been made so that classes and course would not be hampered. RSS
